For development teams, producers, and festival labs

Screenplay translation for films and series that travel.

Most translation tools flatten your script into plain text.

Translate your screenplay in multiple languages within minutes, without losing voice, dramatic intention or industry-standard formatting.

INTERCUT adds a review workflow — bilingual compare, corrected exports after edits, and optional delivery approval before you circulate to partners.

  • Up to 120 pagesper script or episode
  • 20+ languagesincl. dialect variants
  • Review before downloadoptional delivery lock

How it works

01 Choose the outcome

Development read, producer circulation, festival submission, or sales-market package.

02 Upload once

TXT, Fountain, Final Draft, and text PDFs keep screenplay structure visible.

03 Receive a complete package

What lands in your downloads:

  • Translated screenplay (PDF · Final Draft · Fountain · DOCX · TXT)
  • Side-by-side bilingual table (CSV + DOCX)
  • Glossary & voice/QA report (JSON + PDF)
  • Review queue with flagged scenes (in-app)
04 Review, correct, approve

Read source and translation side by side, fix flagged lines, refresh exports and QA scores, then optionally approve the package before download.

Bilingual review

Read the full script side by side

The Review tab shows source and translation line by line, linked to flagged review items — not just a CSV export.

Export parity

Corrections refresh your deliverables

When you edit dialogue or apply review fixes, FDX, PDF, DOCX, and ZIP exports regenerate from the corrected screenplay.

Delivery lock

Approve before circulation

Turn on delivery approval to block download until you sign off the current package — with an optional review-queue clearance gate.

Draft memory

Reuse prior translation work

Project memory and draft-revision baselines help later script versions reuse unchanged scenes instead of re-translating from scratch.

First translation offer

Translate a screenplay without rebuilding your workflow.

Choose the outcome, upload once, and receive review-ready exports from the same workflow — with corrected files after you edit.

  • Voice, glossary, QA refresh, and bilingual review included
  • Free re-pass on any flagged scene — no questions asked

Quality

Will this read like a screenplay or like Google Translate?

Two-pass audit, voice fingerprinting, glossary enforcement, and a review queue catch the lines that machine translators botch. Manual fixes refresh QA scores and export files automatically.

Confidentiality

What happens to my script?

Scripts stay attached to your account. Processing uses an OpenAI Zero Data Retention project — content is not retained or used for training. Production runs are encrypted at rest, with short-lived download tokens.

Risk

What if a scene comes back wrong?

Fix it in Review or flag it for a free re-pass. Exports and machine QA refresh from your corrections. Upgrade to Festival when you need deeper confidence reports before sending externally.
